Welcome at Puerto Maldonado’s airport / transfer to the port and take the motor boat / arrival to Nái-Mecí Lodge / walks around our trail system / all meals / excursion to Sandoval Lake  / transfer back to the port and to Puerto Maldonado’s airport.

Itinerary:

Day 01: Welcome at Puerto Maldonado’s airpot, transfer in bus to the port where our motor boat takes us on an hour ride on the Madre de Dios River toward Nái-Mecí Lodge. Receive an interesting briefing and discuss general rain forest ecology with our guide. Immediately after relaxing and refreshing at our luxurious bungalows.This allows visitors to be in direct contact with the butterflies. Trained guides explain about the life cycle and the natural history of these fascinating insects within a controlled tropical garden. Dinner and a short briefing for next day plans. As optional an interesting night walk to observe insects and amphibians. Overnight at Nái-Mecí Lodge.

We invite our guests to enjoy the swimming pool, the tropical bar, pool, darts and other games.

Day 02: We leave Nái-Mecí Lodge after an early  breakfast that will be offered. Once again our motor boat will take us on the river to observe the fabulous bird life until the port and to Puerto Maldonado’s airport.
