Itinerary:

Day 01: Welcome at Puerto Maldonado’s airport, transfer in bus to the port where our motor boat takes us on an hour ride on the Madre de Dios River toward Nái-Mecí Lodge, briefing from our guide and discuss general rain forest ecology. Immediately after relaxing and refreshing at our fantastic bungalows, we can start walking in the forest through the trail system, use the observation tower at the swamp and observe macaw nests and an amazing jungle sunset. Dinner and a short briefing for next day plans. As optional an interesting night walk to observe insects and amphibians. Overnight at Nái-Mecí Lodge.

We invite our guests to enjoy the swimming pool, the tropical bar, pool, darts and other games.

Day 02: Breakfast will be offered for all our guests starting early activities. Once again our motor boat will take us on the river to observe the fabulous bird life until we arrive Sandoval Lake already in the Tambopata Reserve where if we are lucky can observe the family of Giant otters, some monkeys and the impressive surrounding forest. Return to Nái-Mecí Lodge. Trained guides explain about the life cycle and the natural history of these fascinating and colorful insects within a controlled tropical garden.

Day 03: Very early after having breakfast, once again we leave in our boat toward “Taricaya Project” where our guide will explain how this project involves nature conservation and the rehabilitation of animals found or mistreat by humans.

Day 04: We leave Nái-Mecí Lodge after breakfast in our boat toward the port and Puerto Maldonado’s airport.
